The Atlanta Police Department has arrested Kelvin Evans in connection with the theft of hard drives containing unreleased music from pop superstar Beyoncé. The hard drives were stolen from the vehicle of her choreographer, Christopher Grant, and dancer Diandre Blue, while they were in Atlanta for the Cowboy Carter tour. The stolen items included not only music but also future concert set lists and tour footage.
A Lengthy Criminal History
Evans was arrested on August 26 and is being held at Fulton County Jail on a $20,000 bond. According to jail records, he has a lengthy arrest history dating back to 2002 with previous charges including armed robbery and aggravated assault. Unfortunately, investigators have confirmed that the hard drives containing the sensitive information have not yet been recovered.
